Please look at this error, give a solution, please!!!!!!!?nortan

This is fixable, but is hard to explain on here.

the exe is a dos file and it is not represented in folder options.

Most icons dont have exe in their targets. The file in their targets is what is set up in folder options

click my computer %26gt;tools %26gt;folder options %26gt; file types Tab.

note exe is not represented in there.

try this

XP 鈥?system file checker

====================

System File Checker (SFC). This can also be run in Safe Mode should you prefer.

To run SFC, close all applications such as Office, Messenger, Email, etc, and go to:

- Start

- Run

- Type in sfc /scannow (include the space before the " / ")
