HELP i have a dell inspiron 1300 laptop i threw my mouse down and it hit laptop keyboard?

the screen then dissapeard and when it came back it was black (was on answers when happend) then it said something like it had to close or shut to protect computer now it just says

windows could not start becouse the following file is missing or corrupt , %26lt;windows root%26gt;\system 32\ntoskrnl.exe.

please re-install a copy of the above file .

i cant seem to find that disc all i have is a disc for eurotools system software which contains antivirus and isp software

i think i have another disc but am not sure as cannot find. is there a programme i can download to this pc and to disk that i can put on my l.t or can someone tell me or guide me on getting it working again i have some important work on there and i need to get it running again ,also i put the disk i have in to diskdrive but it did nothing

when i turn off then on the dell sign comes up then the little bar runs blue like it is going to start but then it tells me what i have told you (root syst etc) thanks for any help

ok when you threw the mouse down you could have hit the wireless mouse out or put on mouse lock or brokern your mouse
When your mouse hit the laptop your hard drive jumped and probably scratched your disk. There is no other way but to reinstall the system
Buy a new one.
next time, spit out your dummy, or throw out your teddy

but 4 now take laptop for repair/good luck.
