i keep gettting this pop up windos.. offering antivirus and spiware software but its all advertising. is it true that if i install an anti virus and spyware and adware software on the aministrator account and clean everything. that if i work of a second user name and get a virus they wont affect my computer since they dont have access to the rights?

I'm pretty sure your Idea won't work, but I would suggest getting some spyware doctor, ad-aware, spybot S%26D, the whole shebang. Install and use these in safe mode. Then, use Avast to schedule a boot scan (which gets the viruses before they can be activated.)
