I bought Norton Antivirus 2006 and got a virus, should I have to pay them for experts to fix it?

That pretty much sums it up, I bought the software and still got a virus even tho it was set up correctly. Does anyone really think that I should have to pay them to fix it for me?

What you can do, is disable Norton and download AVG or Avast for free and run their virus scan. When you download, make sure to save it to a file that you can access easily,or remember where it is at. You don't want to run two AV programs at the same time, but, if you make sure to disable one before running the other, then you are good to go.

As far as saving to a file, that way you know where it is,so that you can remove it later.

New viruses come out every hour of every day. No anti-virus is ever 100% up to date.
Try some of these:

Spyware, Adware, Trojans, Malware, Dialers, Popups:
