Is it safe to uninstall a software infected by a virus?

i had scanned my pc using an free online scanner then i recently found out that my pc was infected. The online antivirus can't remove it. The infected file was a .exe

it's1.) C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Digital Imaging\bin\hpotdd01.exe

2.) C:\System Volume Information\_restore%26#123;9E0312E9-F012-4BEC-...

3.) C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86...

it was caused something like a trojan and a backdoor.

ive used bitdefender and kaspersky. i let the bit defender do the work but i cant delete 1.)hpotdd01.exe

oooooooo.... u shouldn't have deleted the last 1 cause its part of system32 ( operating sysem) sometimes when u do that u can seriously mess up windows, sometimes u do't necessarily hav to delete the stuff, u can just leave it in quarantine, and it won't b able to harm u

Install a antivirus first... free ones like ... AVAST or AVG... then uninstall the software... it is safe.

Antivirus running in your system (not online) can prevent further damage any virus infected file can do...
Yes it is
Any software installed by you can be uninstalled.. except OS's.

Go into Safe Mode and delete it safely.
