My friend left his laptop running with it online, but didn't realize it. He said he had been on his hotmail account, msn, and some adult sites a few days before, . When he observed his computer returning from work he noticed a bunch of notices constantly popping up on his computer from www.trustedantivirus.com.
Is that a good antivirus soft ware and is it as good or better than macafee, nod32, AVG, etc.
He said that he must have turned off all of the antivirus soft ware while he was at work, because it would affect how fast the computer runs.
He ran about 6 of the Antivirus softwares already on his computer and he kept getting notices about viruses and trojans.
A big problem he is having is that when he clicked ctrl+alt+delete, the task manager would not show up on his computer. There was a notice that popped up on the screen that read something like " You do not have administrative rights for the task manager"
Does anybody know what the means and if it can be fixed?
