What is causing "program not responing" on computer which is doing so more each day?

have scanned wth 3 differant softwares antivirus,spyware,s etc. and cannot fix problem or even know where to look.Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this or where I should be looking for the problem

There are several causes.

Often there is a corrupted file in the program and a reload of the program will fix it. This applies when only one program gives you this problem.

If all programs do this, perhaps you have too many things running in the background and these are consuming the processor capacity so much that it just cannot do the job. Check what is running in the background and shut off all the background operating programs you do not need.

You may have bugs that you cannot remove easily or at all with virus protection software and you may need to reformat the hard drive.

Usally there is too much programs running in the background, cause that happens to me alot. The most backgrounds that you can have is at least 3. Other wise it takes too much electrons to run those backgrounds which then the programs like internet explorers fails. Another reason could be that you have too many installed programs that runs over your gega bytes. What i mean by that is that maybe your computer only has 1 GB or maybe 2 GBs. If u have 1 GB on your computer its 1,048 of hard drive and if u have a 2GB computer its 2,048 of hard drive. So ltes say you have 2,500 Gbs of installed items on your computer, well thats going over your maximum hard drive which can make your computer go slow or cause you to encounter some promblems while on the internet. So maybe you should try to uninstall some items on your computer. To do that click start, go to control panel, then click add or remove programs. One more advice from me is, to take your computer to geek squad or something so you can get your computer completly cleaned out. Its gonna cost you though.
Get everything backed up and stay backed up if you haven't already. Not sure about the problem though-sorry
have your computer checked for overheating,ex. power supply fan sticking or getting noisy.
