Trend micro wont let me uninstall?

Can you help,

I installed trend micro antivirus on a trial bases but did not like it so i decided to uninstall it.

But for some reason it wont let me uninstall the software, so what is happening now is that when i open file i.e a film that i have stored on my pc it opens trend micro for me to install the software again. So i have to press cancel to continue with the file that i want to open.

Ive tried to get rid of it in safe mode but it will not go away.

Any suggesstions

go to control panel and remove there or go to my computer,click system files and program then delete your target...good luck!

Go into your control panel, click on the add and remove programs. Locate the Trend Micro program, highlight the program and click delete. Good Luck.

My husband and I have been using trend micro for quite sometime now. We both feel we are getting excellent virus protection with this program. And any virus that has appeared it takes care of them right away and no hassles.

hit ctrl-alt-delete and go into the processes tab and end any process related to trendmicro and try deleting it again.
